Iberia increases its presence in Peru, Chile and the Dominican Republic for next winter Iberia has just published its long-haul flight schedule for the upcoming winter season 2025-2026, in which connectivity between Europe and Latin America will once again set historic figures with more than 355 weekly flights to Latin America and a total of 2.4 million seats on sale, consolidating its leadership once again this year with the largest offer in the market.
Chile, Peru and the Dominican Republic will be the destinations where Iberia will increase its presence compared to last winter. Specifically, Santiago de Chile will have two more frequencies than in 2024, reaching 12 weekly flights, which means more than 176,000 seats, 20% more than the previous year.
Lima will increase from 13 to 14 weekly frequencies, i.e. double the number of daily flights, allowing around 1,360 people to travel between Spain and Peru every day.
Santo Domingo will also have more flights than last winter, reaching 13 weekly frequencies in some months. In total, Iberia will offer around 142,000 seats for sale throughout the season.
The rest of the operation remains unchanged, consolidating the increases made last year. Thus, Buenos Aires, Bogotá and Mexico City will continue to have triple daily flights in each direction, i.e. 21 weekly frequencies.
Sao Paulo will have 14 frequencies per week - 2 daily in each direction - and Rio de Janeiro will have up to 5 weekly frequencies.
Quito will have 7 frequencies - 1 daily flight - as will San José de Costa Rica, San Juan de Puerto Rico and Montevideo.
Caracas will have five weekly frequencies, while San Salvador and Guatemala will have four weekly frequencies. This version flows a bit more naturally. Guayaquil, Panama and Havana will have three weekly flights.
