Both destinations will be served by A321XLR narrow-body aircraft, the newest model on the market, of which Iberia was the global launch carrier in November 2024. The A321XLR maintains the high standards of comfort characteristic of other long-haul aircraft in Iberia's fleet such as the A350. It is equipped with the new Airspace cabin and has two classes, Business and Economy, with a total of 182 seats.
In total, in the 2025-2026 winter season, Iberia will fly to four destinations in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Recife and Fortaleza, offering around 284,000 seats between Spain and this region.
