Passengers may take one piece of hand luggage of up to 10 kg and one personal item on board.

Hand luggage must meet the permitted measurements, weight, and number of items in order to be carried into the cabin. If it does not comply with these requirements, it must be checked in at the check-in counters. Checks will be carried out at the boarding gate and, for security reasons, any luggage that cannot be considered hand luggage will be placed in the aircraft hold.

There may be situations in which restrictions apply to carrying hand luggage of up to 10 kg in the cabin. In such cases, the luggage will be checked in at no additional cost and delivered at the destination. On Iberia Regional Air Nostrum flights, checked-in luggage will be returned to passengers at the aircraft door upon arrival.

Personal carry-on items must comply with the applicable regulations, with maximum dimensions of 30 x 40 x 15 cm, and must fit under the seat in front of the passenger.

Carry-on baggage weighing up to 10 kg must also comply with the established regulations, with maximum dimensions of 56 x 40 x 25 cm, and must fit in the aircraft’s overhead compartments.

Flights Operated by Vueling

On flights operated by Vueling, the cabin baggage allowance is 10 kg, with maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20 cm. One additional personal item, such as a small briefcase, handbag, or camera/video camera, is also permitted at no extra cost.

All items must fit into the airport baggage size‑check device.

At the boarding gate, any hand luggage or personal item exceeding these limits will be removed and placed in the aircraft hold, with an additional charge applied per bag and per flight.

This measure applies to passengers who have already checked a bag into the hold as part of their baggage allowance. Passengers travelling without checked baggage will not be charged for any hand luggage removed at the boarding gate.

Flights Operated by Iberia for LEVEL

On flights operated by Iberia on behalf of LEVEL, the cabin baggage allowance is 10 kg, with maximum dimensions of 56 x 40 x 25 cm. Any baggage exceeding these size or weight limits will be removed at the boarding gate and placed in the aircraft hold, with an additional charge ranging from €50 to €150, depending on the baggage allowance included in the booking.

Passengers are advised to check the baggage conditions applicable to their booking when travelling on flights operated by airlines other than Iberia or Iberia Regional Air Nostrum.

• Items or baggage with dimensions exceeding 190 cm in length will not be accepted.
• Cash payments will not be accepted at London Heathrow Airport.
• Animals will not be accepted in the cabin (PETC) on flights bound for London, nor in the aircraft hold (AVIH) on flights to or from London. Transport as cargo or freight is permitted.

U.S. authorities advise that, due to security restrictions, all passengers travelling from the United States may carry only one piece of hand luggage in addition to one personal item on their outbound flight.

• Liquids, gels and/or aerosols with a capacity not exceeding 100 millilitres must be carried in individual containers.
• All containers must be placed inside a transparent, resealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity of 1 litre.
• The contents of the bag must fit comfortably inside it. The bag must be fully closed and presented separately from the rest of the hand luggage for security inspection.
