Air Shuttle

1. Open tickets and Air Shuttle bookable tickets

You can now book flights by combining open tickets and Air Shuttle Reservation tickets.  

 

The new Air Shuttle Reservation tickets offer you the same flexibility as an Open Ticket, including unlimited changes and free seat selection.

 

You will be able to do all the formalities from our website and our improved app; and you will be able to make any changes from your travel agency, or from the Iberia app or website.

Open e-ticket issuance on the shuttle service

You should bear in mind that...

1.

If your customer has the Iberia Plus card, you can start the reservation (PNR) with FFA IB-IB Plus number to include the name and SSR. But this SSR will disappear when you close the PNR, as it cannot be associated to any flight segment.

2.

To issue company tickets, you will have to include the customer number in the tour code field of all tickets with the same transaction as before: "FT*NC--------".

3.

You will need to include a MIS element for the PNR creation

4.

As all segments are open, you must enter the date for the fare to be charged correctly on both segments. 

5.

In all the segments that make up the PNR, the routes will be only and exclusively MADBCN, BCNMAD or both.

6.

You must include an FZ element (or an SSR FOID field) that identifies the ticket and identifies the passenger at the airport.

Air Shuttle

It is advisable to identify the ticket with the Iberia Plus number, so that your customer can use their card and obtain the associated benefits. 

2. Check-in

Tickets with Air Shuttle booking

You can check in online from the time of purchase up to 15 minutes before the departure of the flight.

Air Shuttle Open tickets

You will be able to obtain your customer's card online from 24 hours to 15 minutes before flight departure.

Air Shuttle

At the self-service check-in machines, your customer can check in in several ways: 

1.

Electronic tickets identified with ID card and passport. They must click on the corresponding option and enter their ID card or passport and surname.

2.

Electronic tickets paid for by credit card. Simply swipe your card and enter your surname.

3.

Locator or Booking Code. You will have to enter the booking reference or reservation code and your surname.

4.

With the Iberia Plus card. You will have to swipe the card or enter the number.

You will have to take into account that...

• When you check in, the reservations (PNRs) for Air Shuttle flights must be monopax (one passenger per booking code).

 

• If there are several PNRs with the same characteristics, the ticket with the earliest date of issue will always be retrieved.

 

• At the check-in counters, in addition to the self-service options, electronic tickets can be retrieved with the driver's licence and ticket number.

 

 A Visa card reader and an Iberia Plus reader have been set up at the boarding area so that your customer can board without having to hand over their boarding card.

 

• At check-in, the captured ticket will appear with status C (Checked-in) and the corresponding boarding pass will be issued. It will remain in status C throughout the day, and will change to USED in the night processes.

 

• In case of cancellation of the passenger's check-in, the ticket will automatically change to status O (Open for use).

Important - FZ or SSR FOID field in the reservation

In order for the system to be able to retrieve a reservation, the passenger must know the form of identification of his ticket (FZ or SSR FOID field).

 

The correct FZ must always be in the reservation (PNR) before the ticket is issued. 

 

Subsequent FZ changes will not be reflected on the ticket, although an SSR with the correct FZ may be included and will be reflected on the ticket.

3. Air Shuttle Boarding

The Air Shuttle is located in a dedicated area to reduce boarding time as much as possible. Your customer can check in up to 15 minutes before the flight departure.
