Iberia is offering travel agencies and their customers a new feature on Iberia.com and in our apps that allow them to quickly and independently manage seats purchased through an EMD.

From now on, you will be able to self-manage the following options for your customers as long as the flight has not been modified:

• Change their seat free of charge for another one of the same or lower characteristics (for EMDs with Open For Use or Checked In status).
• Upgrade their seat, paying only the price difference (for EMDs with Open For Use status only).

To do so, simply access this link in IB.Agencias or go directly to Manage My Booking with the PNR and the passenger’s last name, open the seat map, and select the seat they prefer.

This process is now available for any booking issued through any channel, bringing greater agility and efficiency.

With this improvement, agencies reduce management time and associated costs, while gaining greater autonomy.
