Maintenance work at Buenos Aires Airport

Due to planned maintenance work on the main runway at Buenos Aires Airport (Ezeiza), some of our flights between Madrid and Buenos Aires may be affected between 25 October and 11 November 2026. During this period, flights departing from Buenos Aires and bound for Madrid will make a technical stop in Montevideo for refuelling.

Given this situation beyond Iberia’s control, we are launching the following commercial flexibility, applicable to customers with issued tickets who may wish to change their travel plans due to this situation.

Please note that, for flights that may be affected by an operational cancellation, the standard regulations applicable to such situations will apply.

Important Information	One involuntary ticket change allowed Return/Onward sectors on IB may be rebooked under these guidelines, into the same cabin as original, same class or lowest available For customers on cancelled IB flights, standard Customer Handling Guidelines will apply.
