Eruption of Mount Etna - operations moved to Palermo

Due to the situation caused by the eruption of Mount Etna and the presence of volcanic ash affecting operations at Catania Airport (CTA), we have been required to relocate our operation to Palermo Airport (PMO).

For the time being, this measure will remain in place until 17 August, although we will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Affected customers have been reaccommodated on flights to/from Palermo, and their tickets have been revalidated for the new airport.

Please note that customers must make their own way directly to Palermo Airport (PMO). No transportation will be provided from Catania or the surrounding area to Palermo and, therefore, any costs incurred in travelling to/from PMO will be borne by the customer.

We regret any inconvenience caused by this situation, which is beyond Iberia's control.

Important Information	One involuntary ticket change allowed Return/Onward sectors on IB may be rebooked under these guidelines, into the same cabin as original, same class or lowest available. For customers on cancelled IB flights, standard Customer Handling Guidelines will apply.
